Health Care Expense Accounts

Colgate's Health Care Expense Accounts (HCEAs) provide a tax-effective way to cover those expenses not covered under healthcare or dental programs.

Disability

We offer two types of disability benefits:
  • Short-Term: Up to full salary for up to 26 weeks (based on length of service)
  • Long-Term: Either 50% or 66 2/3% of earnings, with or without cost-of-living adjustment, after 26 weeks up to age 65 (depending upon options selected)

Life Insurance

Colgate provides the following:

  • Life Insurance for employees
  • Life Insurance for employees' dependents
  • Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance (AD&D)
  • Travel Accident Insurance
  • Option to purchase additional coverage at low group rates
