What is the Commercial Team Management Training Program?
Colgate-Palmolive Canada has developed a unique, 3 year rotational sales & marketing training program that exposes the (full time) candidate to a diverse range of experiences and challenges. This exposure will help build the professional skills essential to becoming a top performer at Colgate-Palmolive.
The Program includes three rotational roles:
Brand Assistant (Consumer Marketing)
Go-to-Market Manager (Consumer Marketing)
Business Development Manager (Sales)
Projects within the rotation include: advertising, consumer/trade promotions, market research, product and packaging development, new product launches, account presentations, market assessments, category reviews, competitive reviews, promotion planning, account promotion execution and business plan development.
Upon completion of the 3 year program the trainee will transition into a role based on their individual career aspirations and company needs.
An important element of the Commercial Team Management Training Program is to provide a program mentor for the trainee. The mentor serves as a key resource for guidance and direction, and will help the trainee achieve a healthy work-life balance, achieve his/her stated learning goals, and develop his/her career path at Colgate-Palmolive.
A posting for openings in the program will appear at the following University Career Services Departments: Queen’s, Schulich School of Business (York), Ivey School of Business (Western) and McGill. Students must apply through their local Career Services Department
