Body Wash

What are the benefits of body wash versus bar soap?

Body washes have a lower pH level than bar soaps and therefore are milder to the skin than bar soap. Many consumers find body wash to be more convenient since there is no messy bar to deal with, and some consider it more sanitary because more than one person can use it, each with their own pouf or washcloth.

How do I know what body wash is right for me?

Choosing a body wash is a very personal decision. Softsoap* offers a range of products to choose from.

  • If you are looking for a product that will invigorate your spirit, try Softsoap* Pomegranate & Mango Body Wash
  • If you are looking for a moisturizing body wash with the added benefit of an experiential fragrance, try Softsoap* Milk Protein & Honey or Softsoap* Ultra Rich Shea Butter

Why do we need to keep skin well hydrated?

Hydrated or moisturized skin is smooth, soft and healthy looking.

Liquid Hand Soap

What is the difference between a regular liquid soap and an antibacterial soap?

The main difference is that antibacterial soaps contain a special ingredient for controlling bacteria. When washing with an antibacterial soap, a very small amount of antibacterial ingredient is deposited on the skin that keeps the number of bacteria at a significantly reduced level for an extended period of time. Washing with plain soap initially removes some bacteria, but the amount of bacteria left on the hands can quickly regrow and increase in number1.

How often do I have to wash my hands to keep them free of bacteria?

Softsoap* soaps reduce the number of bacteria on your hands but do not completely leave them free of bacteria.
